Tenso manufactures board-level fuse holders and clips for electronics OEMs who want a replaceable fuse rather than a soldered one — through-hole and surface-mount, plus open fuse clips. They suit repairable assemblies where a soldered fuse would mean a rework. For an auto-resetting limit on the board instead, see our resettable PPTC devices; for the cartridge fuses these holders take, see glass tube fuses. Ratings are indicative; confirm against the datasheet.

FAQ
PCB / SMD Fuse Holders & Clips — questions buyers ask
Why use a PCB fuse holder instead of a soldered fuse?
A holder or clip keeps the fuse field-replaceable, which suits repairable assemblies. A soldered or SMD fuse is lowest cost and smallest footprint but not user-replaceable.
Do you make surface-mount holders?
Yes — through-hole and SMD holders, plus open fuse clips. Match the type to your board process and the fuse format you use.
PCB holder or resettable PPTC?
Use a holder/clip for a replaceable cartridge fuse; use a resettable PPTC where you want an auto-resetting over-current limit on the board. We make both.
